    yeah thats the point. Personally I don't think 'a drug' made by 'a mysterious scientist' is workable. Just call it like Viagra and macaroons if you want to do something like that in a doujin. Not some random Drug that makes people act out of character. its a doujin, the whole point is they need to be in character. otherwise you might as well be doing an original work.
